Quality child care is a community resource that supports families, nurtures children’s growth, and contributes to the community’s economic productivity. At Chemung County Child Care Council (5C’s), our goal is to lead the way to child care that works for everyone in our community. We accomplish this through education and advocacy.
On a daily basis, 5C’s is the only local, not-for-profit agency that provides information and referrals regarding the affordability, accessibility and availability of quality child care in Chemung County. Our information is accurate, credible and unbiased because we believe that parents have the right and responsibility to chose the child care situation that best suits their needs and those of their children.
